The Gordon Research Seminar on Bioorganic Chemistry is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. The focus of this meeting is on innovations in the design of chemical tools and the implementation of these tools and technologies for visualizing and understanding complex biological processes. Chemistry is at the core of many new technologies in biology and medicine, and technological advances in these fields are fueling new approaches to chemical biology. This meeting will explore these emerging opportunities with the aim of catalyzing new cross-disciplinary partnerships. This GRS will include two poster sessions, two sessions of original research talks by graduate students and post-docs, a panel on mentorship and career development, and a keynote lecture. Additionally, there will be ample opportunity to have one-on-one conversations during dinner, breakfast, and poster sessions.
